Labor Day weekend might be the busiest weekend of the year here at the Port of Garibaldi, and despite all the COVID restrictions, 2020 is looking to be no different.
Let’s start with the big stuff first:
2020 Labor Day Saturday Seafood “Meat the Sea”
This year, to celebrate the weekend, on Saturday, September 5th 2020, we will be having our Seafood edition of our Meat the Sea evening, inspired by the crab boil we did earlier in the year as well as our much-revered Valentine’s Day menu. It will start right when we open the doors at 11:30am, and will go till our (soft) close at 8pm, or when we run out of food, or both. Whichever. It’ll be incredible:
Specialties on this day will include:
- Rib & Seafood Platters
- “Fish Ribs?” Maybe someday. Pork Ribs for now.
- Individual Crab Pots
- Steamer Clams
- Fish Tacos
- & More. Much, much more to be announced on Facebook.
Reservations recommended.
Walk-Ups welcomed.
Fantastic food, as always.
Hours for Labor Day Weekend 2020
Sadly, with all the complications brought about due to COVID-19 restrictions, we’re still only able to run 4 days a week without fear of mutiny. Our amazing kitchen staff is already running overtime hours to prepare fresh-cooked meals four days a week. To ask them to go any further might push them to make us walk the plank.
So, for now:
- Same Days: Wednesday-Saturday
- Same Hours: 11:30am with soft closes at 8pm. If business is still humming at 8pm, we’ll keep the lights burning on a bit longer.
We’re still hiring for the following positions:
- Prep Chef / Cook
- Line Chef /Cook
- Dishwasher
- and more
