If you saw our Good Friday ‘20 Facebook post offering a chicken and a salmon fettuccine alfredo option but now can’t find it, it’s not you. It’s us. We had to delete it.
Well, it’s not us. Our supplier cut delivery options, change offerings hourly, and today they’re late with their shipment.
It’s not our supplier. Their vendors have lately become hit or miss with more shutting every day.
It’s not their vendors. They’ve been forced to deal with COVID-19 & the state’s current Shelter-In-Place restrictions.
And it’s not the state…
Every link in the supply chain is kinked during these times.
It’s made planning into a coin-toss not only for us, but for everyone in the industry. Everyone is affected.
Everyone’s being forced to say, “No, I’m sorry. We don’t have it,” At the moment.
A lot of anxiousness.
A lot of frustration.
A lot of guilt.
A lot of trepidation.
But everyone will keep creating, keep churning, and gritting out new ideas to ‘keep on keepin’ on’.
Thank y’all, our customers, family, friends, neighbors, suppliers, vendors, and government officials.
We appreciate every cheer, every kind word, every understanding gesture, and every smile when we have to say, “Sorry, there are already three people in the lobby.”
Every day is a new one.
Tomorrow is another one.
If it all goes well, those times we cherish will come again before we believe these times will never end.
TIll then, back to the grind.
Sincerely,
- Team Bistro
